My son (only child) inspired me to get healthy and fit.
My son had lost a significant amount of weight and was on his own wellness journey.
In the spring of 2023, he treated me to a week’s stay at a beautiful wellness resort in Lanai, Hawaii. While there, I worked with a mind-set coach, a fitness coach, and a nutritionist. This was the first time in my 67 years that I had ever been in a gym to lift weights. I knew NOTHING! This was the first time in my 67 years that I had ever talked with a nutritionist. I had no idea what a Macro was!
At the end of this scary, intimidating, inspiring and wonderful week, my son said to me, “Mom, this is what I want for you. I want you to go home, hire a trainer and get healthy”…….and so my journey begins.
